2: What is Padlock Protector Steel Shroud manufactured from.

The Steel Shroud is made from a Steel Billet using the latest CNC machining technology to ensure a perfect fit for the customised Padlock inside the Steel Shroud.

3: Padlock Protector Steel Shroud external finish.

After the manufacturing process of the Steel Shroud it is Zinc plated with a gold passovated finish to protect it from climatic conditions.

When the Steel Billet is purchased it has a few very small marks on the outside due to how the Steel Billet is manufactured in the Steel Mill.

When the Steel Shroud is used it will be occasionally dropped onto sand, concrete, brick paving or bitumen and will be scratched on the outside during its lifetime being locked and un-locked securing property.

For the above reason we decided not to pay the Zinc platter an additional $39.00 to buff these few marks off before they Zinc Plate each Steel Shroud.

We believe purchasers will agree with our decision to leave the occasional mark on the outside of the Steel Shroud and save all our purchasers the additional $39.00.

After each Steel Shroud has been Zinc platted the odd mark is hardly visible.

4: Why do we include Bolt Cutter proof Chain with Padlock Protector.

There was no point making a security device that protects a Padlock being broken by one of the three methods opportunistic, smash and grab and semi professional thieves use to break a Padlock, they are:

• Leverage Attack
• Hammer Attack
• Bolt Cutter Attack

Then include Mild Steel Chain that can be easily and quickly cut with a cheap 12 inch Bolt Cutter purchased at any Hardware Shop for about five bucks.
